PERFORMANCE/REPERTOIRE REQUIREMENTS

Category 1: Participants between 6 – 9 years:


The participants must perform at least two original works.
*The total duration of the performance up to 8-10 minutes.

Category 2: Participants between 10 – 13 years

The participants must perform at least two original works (transcriptions and

cuts are not permitted) in different styles, at least one movement of a classical

sonata by Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven.

*The total duration of the performance up to 12 minutes




Category 3: Participants between 14 – 17 years:


The participants must perform at least two original works (transcriptions and

cuts are not permitted) in different styles, at least one movement of a classical

sonata by Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven.

*The total duration of the performance up to 20 minutes.




 

Category 4: Participants between 18 – 35 years 

This category has 2 Rounds:

A Preliminary Round and the Final Round.

Preliminary Round (max. 15 minutes)

1) One etude by Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Scriabin or Debussy

2) One work of free choice

 

Final Round (max. 30 minutes) 

1) One work by Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven

2) One or more works of free choice.
