Ms.Tang discovered and cultivated a large number of excellent piano talents. more than 20 of her students were first-prize winners in the international piano competitions. so she was also known as the "The Gold Medal Professor". Many outstanding young pianists came from her family, such as Niu Niu, Qin Yunyi, Yin Cunmo, and so on. In the 50th "Jaen" Competition in 2008, her 16-year-old student Qin Yunyi emerged from four rounds of competitions, and became the first Chinese pianist who won the First Prize in the history of the competition. For the first time, a Chinese national flag was hung on the competition site in Spain. After that, people started calling her as "National Flag Teacher".

 

Ms.Tang has been a jury member of many international competitions, such as the CCTV Piano Violin Competition, the International Piano Competition "Premio Jaén" and Conservatorlo Municipal de Musica" José lturbi" de Valencia in Spain, the Premio Mauri Paolo Monopoli in ltaly, the Young Musician International Competition "Città di Barletta" among others. She also has been invited by the United States France and ltaly to play and teach master classes.

 

In 2019, Yin Cunmo won the First Prize and the Special Prize for chamber music at the International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn, Germany. The International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn is a very difficult competition with high authoritative in the industry. Usually, the competition lasts two to three rounds, this competition takes five rounds and lasts for 5 hours before they compete in the final round for the gold medal. In 2021, he won the third prize and the audience award in the 16th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, this is the first winner from mainland China in this competition since 1983. After graduating with a Ph.D. from the Hanover University of Music and Drama, Yin Cunmo was employed as a piano teacher at Hanover University of Music. He was the first Chinese pianist to be hired in a prestigious European School. He served as a judge of international piano competitions for many times and started his career as a pianist and educator. Nowadays, Yin Cunmo is a popular and outstanding young pianist in Europe, praised by the German media as “The true genius who perform the most simple and pure music”.

 

Successively studied in the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Central Conservatory of Music in China, then got a Master's degree in Piano Performance from the University of Minnesota in the USA. She has studied with such teachers as Fou Ts`ong, Liu Shikun, Wu Leyi, Zhou Guangren and Alexander Braginsky. In 2002,she returned to China and has been teaching at Shanghai Conservatory of Music ,now she is also a specially-appointed professor of Tianjin Conservatory of Music.

 

Active in China and abroad, Ms.Tang is hailed by media as a pianist "with noble, glorious and soul-touching charisma.
